We are ONE week away from our Summer Radiothon! The fun continues next Wednesday, July 20 with WakeUp! at 7 a.m. I am thrilled to get these guests for the Baton Rouge area as well as working with Mark Chifici who gathered the guests for New Orleans. He (in purple) is part of Knights of Columbus Council at Our Lady of Mercy in Baton Rouge. He comes on every first Friday of the month on WakeUp! to talk about updates and how you can be apart of the Knights of Columbus.

Belle Rose & Paincourtville

He has a passionate love for our Tigers! Father is very involved in youth and was recently assigned from Christ the King at LSU to two new parishes in Louisiana.






 Rocky and Rachel McClellan


Rocky and Rachel are near and dear to the hearts of Catholic Community Radio and are recent converts to the faith just by listening to Catholic Community Radio!






Coach Paul Mainieri, LSU Head Baseball Coach

Baton Rouge

He is the fourth Louisiana coach to enter the Hall of Fame alongside Skip Bertman. He has won over 1,000 games and an NCAA National Championship. He is a proud supporter of Catholic Community Radio

Al- Along with his wife Patty, he helps to lead the Catholic Charismatic Renewal of New Orleans.


Andi Oney


Andi is a mother, homemaker and teacher. She and her husband, Deacon Larry Oney are faithful servants of Christ where she also has spoked at the Women’s Regional Conference in Louisiana

 Fr. Francis “Bo” Major, St. Charles Borromeo


He is the Parochial Vicar at St. Charles Borromeo Parish in Destrahan






4-5 p.m.

      John Smestad, New Orleans

He is the Executive Director of Pastoral Planning and Ministries. He also serves at various Teen Encounters with Christ Retreat movement. 





5-6 p.m.

He is a priest for the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux at Blessed Sacrament in Gibson. He’s also served as a military chaplain.
